Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Andy M — 23 Jul 2013
I was finally able to grab hold of a copy of this film after hearing the rave reviews about this. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, as it came out of nowhere and the fact that I had only seen this advertised on TV now and again. All I knew was, that it was from a Swedish author and that the cinematography was something quite different and intense.
The story of the film, was dark and in some way felt like a horror movie, as you wasn't sure what was going to happen next. You are left gripped with each scene and you are left wanting more. This was something which I liked, as it was thrilling to watch.
Out of the trilogy of this film, I preferred this one out of the three, as the action and backstory was balanced, which kept the film moving forward.
