Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Martini J — 07 Jan 2012

Even though the remake is currently in theaters, it was movie night and this was the movie that was selected. Other then the big buzz about the books and the remake, I had no other knowledge of what the movie was about.

I was definitely taken aback by the subject matter but engrossed in the movie that I wanted to keep watching. Noomi Rapace is amazing as Lisbeth Salander. Quirky, vengeful, broken, headstrong, all in one.

I don't know if the remake is as good, but I know that it's gonna be hard to replace the quality of this piece of work. Dare I watch the sequels? Haha.
