Overall it was a good movie with lots of minor items that bothered me. #1 the introduction felt like a James Bond Movie, it felt out of place. #2 It felt like a lot of the story line had been "done before" Silence of the Lambs.

#3 the sexual violence was totally uneccessary and could have been implied. The book isn't as graphic, I'm not sure why they felt the need to make the movie more graphic other than to cause controversy and hype.
