Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) by Ken S — 22 Apr 2012

Only took me 4 months to get around to watch! But with having watched the remake first and the original second I think the remake has the edge a little. Although Noomi Rapace is the original Lisbeth, I feel that Rooney Mara played her a lot better and she felt a lot more intense and threatening.

Rapace's take on the character is a lot more softer, not that you'd mess with either of them of course! There are subtle differences between the 2 films which I wont go into that much, but lets just say that it is a brilliant film that although is a hard watch, is an intense experience and on par with other classic psychological thrillers like Silence Of The Lambs and Se7en.
