Review of The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009) by Axelkoch — 25 Nov 2012
Unbelievable that this is the sequel of the disappointing 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'. As both Lisbeth and Mikael have a personal connection to the case, it's way more interesting than the first movie.
It's even more brutal but here it doesn't seem so gratuitous as in number 1. Good screenplay, good direction and mainly good actors (I still don't like Mikael Nyqvist). It revamps most of the mistakes and is one really interesting crime story, that perfectly fits as the middle of 3 continuous movies.
The end is no total cliffhanger because we get kind of a solution, but everything is open for the final part and that's how it should be.
