Review of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) by Steven H — 30 May 2011
I'll review another animated movie. This time, it's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, this movie is actually an adaptation of a novel of the same title, and the protagonist of the novel is the aunt of our hero in this movie, Makoto.
If you want to know more, you can just wiki it. Now to the review, I find the plot very fresh and unique, the story very appealing and the one and a half hour duration of this movie is packed with lots of emotional and amusing scenes.
And well, while it's seems weird, what I really love from this movie is the dialogues, it's smart, beautiful and the timing was perfect. I give this one a 5 stars too, i'm just not sure how to give a great animated movie less than 5 stars.
