Review of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) by Shayne M — 10 Feb 2009
This movie does not care one wit for the intricacies of time travel or paradoxes or any of that business. It is a simple tale of a high school girl facing the insecurities of her emotions that just happens to use time travel.
But its simplicity makes it easier for the emotions to resonate off the screen. It's a movie you feel more than you think about, and, especially in its final moments, that's just fine with me.
