Review of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) by Daniel H — 08 Aug 2009
An interesting anime on a girl who learns to go back in time when she takes a flying leap after nearly being hit by a Keisei Line train. She uses this power to erase a lot of her mistakes and to mainpulate things to the way she wants it, like Bill Murray did in Groundhog Day.
It also explores the issue of causality, i.e. cause and effect. While Makoto's friends Kousuke and Chiaki are good characters, Makoto's selfishness and whininess are debits in an otherwise great anime.
