Review of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) by John B — 23 Jan 2017
I felt that this movie was rather nice. It has a good idea that is fun to watch. It doesn't deal with the usual tie travel paradoxes as much as other time travel films and focuses on the issues of the protagonist.
Now, Richard Curtis did a film similar but I feel that this film took more advantage (i.e. in the Curtis film, to time travel, the protagonist would stand in a dark corner clenching fists and just appear in a different time.
In this film, the protagonist literally leaps into a time stream and falls out at her chosen time). I like how the characters are fleshed out enough to feel realistic and the conclusion is very heartwarming.
If you want a fun little anime to watch, check it out.
