Review of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (1997) by Ross M — 24 Mar 2010
A similar concept to the Bill Murray film Groundhog day, where a school girl discovers she has the ability to leap back in time, minutes, hours, days , changing what had previously occurred. This however doesnâ??t always have the desired results, twisting the outcome of events in a kinds of directions.
The only problem is as it begins to draw to the conclusions it gets a bit weird (but thatâ??s the Japanese for you), which unfortunately ruins it slightly, just seems like they had a good idea for a film, but didnâ??t come up with an ending till it was half made. But still an excellent animation.
