Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Nhã ? — 12 Feb 2011

An incredibly overrated series. About the best thing you can say for the movies is that they're remarkably faithful to the original source material---but since the books aren't that great to begin with, this might not have been such a good strategy on the filmmakers' part.

This final installment is entirely uninspired---even a scene in which she nails her brother's feet to the floor with a nail gun is just plain dull. Don't believe the hype---skip it. Don't say I didn't warn you.
