Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by James P — 27 Apr 2011
Unconventional heroine Lisbeth Salander will finally get her day in court, but must first survive The Section's continued attempts to silence her. Meanwhile, maverick magazine editor Mikael Blomqvist is working to expose The Section's evils to the world.
This final installment wraps up loose ends nicely, but the climactic sequence does not work as well in a cinema context as it would have in a literary one, and we have a film that lacks the grim, desperate tension of its predecessors.
