Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by John S — 29 Apr 2011
Solid ending to the millennium trilogy for me. It was a step up on the fire one but nit as good as the first one.
The story is very interesting and centers on the abuser from her teenage years and the group of men who took her father in as a Russian defector.
I have to say I liked the ending it was really well done. The series and film itself was a bit long but I do understand that the books are big and it takes time to tell a story.
For the actors Nyqvist and Rapace, they really must have lucked out getting these roles - this is surely as good as it gets for a Swedish actor/actress.
Please, this should be watched in Swedish with English Subtitles, not dubbed and not remade into English.
Favourite scene. Ending in the brick house.
