Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Dutch V — 02 May 2011
The trilogy ends on a low note. Lisbeth is back, yet again, and she is continuing her revenge against those who framed her for murder. Once again, the two leads, the ones who made us fall in love with Dragon Tattoo, are barely seen together.
It's sad, it really is. Seeing as the tension between two complete opposites, Lisbeth and whatever his name is, was the selling point behind Lisbeth's kickassery. It turns into a courtroom drama, which is fine and all, but it seems a little.
......tired. Like it's just waiting to get to the finale, which is not even so sweet after all. One of those film series that starts off too high to do again. Still much better than most I've seen nowadays, but not quite yet to where it once was and could've been.
