Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Steve B — 08 May 2011
Really good finish to a thoroughly enjoyable series of films. The editing didn't feel as choppy in this one as the second and the courtroom scenes were very tense. Not a bad act within the cast but real stand out is still Noomi Rapace - she absolutely nails Lisbeth Sallander.
David Fincher has got hell of a job to do to follow this lot ... although Rooney Mara's job may be the hardest. Could be a little difficult to follow this series without having read the books - particularly in Swedish :) - but give them a go anyway, you won't be disappointed.
One of the best female leads for ages. Highly recommended.
