Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Adam M — 13 May 2011
Great final installment of the Swedish trilogy. The far to talky second installment is forgiven as Mikael is still busy fighting for Lisbeth against the people who want to keep him, and her, quiet(dead).
Meanwhile, Lisbeth's recovering in hospital after her lucky escape but must get out in order to eventually get to trial. Fortunately she has some help along the way and obviously has her own plans of revenge.
The pace is good throughout and keeps things interesting as it all unfolds with a decent courtroom face-off and slightly random ending! Great performance again by Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth and a decent final installment, thank fuck!
