What started out as a Silence-of-the-Lambs style murder mysetery thriller series dragged on longer than the "Pirates" trilogy. Great talents, good acting and well filmed, it's a shame the story just crawled along to an inevitable conclusion over a slow 2 and a half hours.
A solid piece of cinema that never lived up to the masterful debut.
