Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Sari P — 05 Oct 2011
While this is the perfect final retribution that the dark, badass female lead needed throughout her entire life, the actual conclusion of the story seem to gloss over some details while completely subverting the audience expectation -- or rather, their desperate hope on a hook -- for all the everyone's hard work.
Subverted so hard, that you might think that the Coen brothers have directorial dopplegangers in Scandinavia.
