It's a classic Greek tragedy.

Last we saw Lisabeth she was shot in the side, shot in the head, and drove an ax into her father. Unfortunately for Lisabeth, everyone involved in the act, including her father and brother, survived the ordeal. Now Lisabeth will serve trial for attempted murder and risk being sent back to an insane asylum based on her history of violence. Even if she is found not guilty and freed back into society, her brother awaits with revenge on his mind.

"Things will get worse for all of you.".

Daniel Alfredson, director of The Girl of Who Played with Fire, Wolf, Straydogs, Tic Tac, and Call of Death, delivers The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. The storyline for this picture is excellent and wraps up the tale of Lisabeth Salander perfectly. The lines and sequences were intense and well delivered and the acting was marvelous. The cast includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Nyqvist, and Lena Endre.

"All signs point to insanity.".

We have thoroughly enjoyed these pictures and while the second and third pictures were not as good as the original they were still entertaining. The Lisabeth character was remarkable, well delivered, and brilliantly written and filmed. I strongly recommend seeing these gems and all three pictures are worth your time.

"She's incapable of empathy.".

Grade: B.
