Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Chris B — 29 Mar 2012
An overall disappointing to Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" is overly long and dragged out but at least offers the most rewarding in terms of conclusions.
This third and final outing is more political and behind closed doors then the first two and we see a bigger picture of the events that have transpired and the impact they make. While the whole trilogy starts with a bang, it also slowly fizzles out but works as a cohesive whole.
The actors all pick up their characters roles well and deliver one final and solid performance. We are left with a more slow and tedious film but one that should ultimately wrap things up and close this chapter.
