Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Jeff L — 22 Jun 2012
My God, this flick is appalling. What's the big deal about a secret cabal of elderly white men who pull Sweden's strings? Lisbeth is a non-entity in the trilogy's final flick. She's in the hospital at the beginning and then she's in a trial.
All right, she looks out of this world in her court costume, and she gets to knock off someone at the end. The studly middle-aged Michael acts scared and his magazine's colleague comes under threat, normal in these circumstances, and expected in a movie.
The first was slow and meandering at the start, but the action and violence woke me up in the middle.
