The filmmakers did their best with the final installment of the trilogy but if you're a fan of the books you'll find it disappointing how much detail of the cold war cover up had to be filtered out to make the movie fit the timeline and to try and keep the story simple enough for movie-only viewers to follow.
The overall result is flat and drawn out but is effective enough in closing out the story.
