Review of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) by Stefan K — 09 Jul 2012
The conclusion to the trilogy wraps everything up nicely, and gives us a new element in a group of corrupt officials trying to eliminate all the loose ends. However, this elderly bunch make a real hash of it, so the drama is lessened, as the threat never really threatens, and the story is told at a slow, slow, old pace, particularly the drab trial scenes.
Still, Noomi Rapace has been quietly convincing throughout, and this is a fair conclusion, let down by a less than stellar plot.
