Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by Pam C — 24 Oct 2016
I am not sure why movie critics have been so horrible lately so much so I do not even read these reviews anymore. I feel as though the reviews are never accurate to my own feelings towards the movie. I want to say this novel was one of my favorites.
I powered through the book in nearly one sitting it was so good, which is very rare for me. I felt as though the movie was very in line with the novel. There were a few minor changes but the raw feelings of hurt, betrayal, lust, wanting to feel whole again in all characters were accurately portrayed and done so very well.
Movies are hardly better than the book but the Producers and Director did a really great job portraying even the flashbacks exactly how they were described. Overall, I highly recommend checking this film out and ignoring these ratings.
