Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by Brad S — 15 Feb 2017
I haven't read the best-selling book that it is based on so I can't speak to how good it is, but I can comfortably say that the film isn't great. I really like Emily Blunt and she's pretty good in this, but the film surrounding her isn't.
The actions of the characters just never felt believable to me, I was constantly asking myself why would that person do that. The murder suspect also becomes obvious early on removing any suspense. This film wasn't worth watching, even for Blunt's performance, she has much better films to watch instead.
Skip it.
