What to say? All the parts of the book that I didn't enjoy were simply amplified in this movie. There's too much drama. There are too many similar characters with unappealing characteristics - selfishness, instability, jealousy, violent outbursts - designed with the deliberate, heavy-handed intent to mislead.
The characters serve as poor devices to keep a lame revenge-on-the-ex plot moving forward.
