Emily Blunt was absolutely brilliant in this film. I read the book and the movie did an outstanding job of sticking to the story. There were very few things that were changed and it was non-essential things that were clearly for condensing for screen.
The movie was great! I feel that the poor reviews aren't necessarily accurate. They are divided by those that loved it because they read the book, and those that hate it and clearly did not read the book.
