Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by Lucbevibrasil — 08 Nov 2016
The Girl on the Train is a movie that has everything going for it. In addition to her competent script, the trio female protagonist is phenomenal, all entering into great characters and delivering faithful interpretations.
The biggest problem with the movie is the director. Tate Taylor is a spectacular director, but misses this movie. Be it in its frames, bad coordination of flashbacks and Tate's obvious difficulty to transition from drama to suspense, it fails and compromises the whole Project.
