Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by Marcmyworks — 13 Oct 2016
The critics have been really hard on this film and honestly its another example of me briefly questioning my own taste and realizing I don't really care. I liked this film, it had elements that could very well be compared to "Gone Girl" however it does really work on its own.
Emily Blunt gives a marvelous performance as a woman who is near the end of her rope and Haley Bennett is wonderful as her complex and disturbed fantasy girl.
