It is hard to review this film without giving away spoilers. Honestly, The Girl on the Train is a mediocre film with weak writing, subpar acting, and messy incohesiveness in structuring its plotline. It is not worth spending your money or time over.
It is not even half the film Gone Girl was. This is a C-grade thriller trying to masquerade as something deeper than it is.
