Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by Ginak — 06 Oct 2016
Emily Blunt should get a 10 for an excellent performance that kept the audience interested throughout. I enjoyed the movie and I also enjoyed the book, and for me they are two very different experiences.
The book is concentrated and focused with a mood that I thought was impossible to capture on film, and it was. Yet the film works on its own merits, and for me it clarified some of the clues and motivations and made all the characters more real.
I suggest enjoying both for the very different experiences they provide.
