We read the book for my book club and then watched the movie together. Please read the book and skip the movie. I don't think I would have understood the movie without reading the book. Why was it in New York instead of London? Why did they choose to make Rachel British if it wasn't going to be based in London? How did Scott know his wife was pregnant before they found her body? Why Tom hit Rachel with a water glass instead of a beer bottle? This was another horrible book to movie adaptation.
I hope the author thought the money was worth ruining their story over.
