Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by David W — 13 Oct 2016
Better than the book!
...but I didn't care for the book.
Rarely have I seen a film after reading the book and thought it was done better. I felt very connected to the characters on screen and in the book I could them a little deflated. ALMOST one dimensional.
The book and the movie have a polished Lifetime-y feel to them. I enjoy a lifetime movie from time to time so I didn't mind. It wasn't the best film of the year, but it was worth seeing out on a rare date night.
