3 Stars for this movie The Girl on the Train is more than generous from me maybe it's the New Years spirit I have.

The movie is soo weird and confusing that I instantly thought the book would have been better although I have never read the book.

The story sucked as it was going through a timeline and you are shown this story of the girl on the train being bat shit crazy and then the story unfolds from just being on the train to the girl in the shrinks office and a tad more.

I was in and out of this movie cause it was soo slow however my wife was watching this with focus.

The thing was you could go in and out of this movie like a soap opera and still manage to keep up with the story.

The 2 things that I liked about this movie was that the cast was good. Of course, you had Emily Blunt you had Alex from Orange is the New Black and you even had Pheobe Lisa Kudrow playing a small role and linked to Lisa was Justin Theroux Jennifer Aniston's hubby but I did not know it was him until I go onto Flixter.

The second aspect that made me like the movie was the message of Domestic Violence and how important it is to be aware of and the different forms it can take. If you are going to take anything out of this movie it is the importance and awareness of Domestic Violence and how we can help to stop it and help people being affected by it.

The movie is for the adults and not suitable for the kiddies at all.
