"The Girl On the Train" might have just featured some of the best acting that I've ever seen, and probably some of the best acting of the year. Emily Blunt (Rachel Watson) gives an unbelievable performance in this movie, and for me that's what makes it so great.

Without Emily, this movie completely falls off, but because she was able to carry it, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. She just does all the right things at the right times, and the way she carried her character was to perfection, and she definitely deserves some sort of recognition for this outstanding performance.

The plot of this movie is deep, and interesting to the point where I became quite invested in the story, and everything else that was happening throughout the movie. The transitions in the way the movie tries to get you to think about each character was so cool to me, and I thought it deepened and advanced the plot of this story.

It took on multiple perspectives throughout, without ever getting too complicating, or too boring. There were scenes that made me shudder, and scenes that made me laugh a little too, but it never went too overdramatic, and it always carried on a tone that would make you take the plot seriously.

I didn't really like how it ended, I feel as though it was going for more of a complex sort of movie, and it ended off with more of a basic straightforward ending, whereas I think if it left more of the story up to the audience, that would have pushed the story to receive some more praise.

There wasn't really any point in this movie where I just lost interest, as this movie did a very good job at keeping the story and plot moving along, while keeping it very enticing. You can tell the book for this movie was very well written, because there were a lot of scenes where you could tell Rachel was thinking about things that the movie just couldn't really get across.

All in all, I really enjoyed the complexity and exhilaration that came with the mystery and thrill of this movie, and because of one of the best single acting performances I've ever seen, "The Girl On The Train" is definitely worth watching.
