Review of The Girl on the Train (2016) by Jasmine F — 27 Oct 2016
I've already read the book, so it's hard for me to tell whether the 'twist' was done well or not, as I knew it was coming from the beginning. Still a finely acted piece of melodrama, trying very hard to be a thriller.
Based on the character in the novel, I think Emily Blunt was miscast, if only because she seems too together to play such a mess is a character.
