Review of The Girl Next Door (2004) by Vance M — 03 Apr 2010
This weeks throwback dvd movie for April 4 to April 10 2010 is The Girl Next Door. Emile Hirsch, Timothy Olyphant, James Remar, and the girl I have crush on Elisha Cuthbert is in this movie. I use to watch her on Popular Machanics for Kids on Global when she was younger and I thought that she was so cute.
This was not good because there were sexuality in this movie because I like all of Elisha Movies and her show 24. She one of my favorite Actresses. Eighteen-year-old Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch) is a straight-arrow over-achiever who has never really lived life--until he falls for his beautiful and seemingly innocent neighbor, Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert).
When Matthew discovers that this perfect "girl next door" is a one-time porn star, his sheltered existence begins to spin out of control. Ultimately, Danielle helps Matthew emerge from his shell and discover that sometimes you have to risk everything for the person you love, as he simultaneously helps her rediscover her innocence.
I gave this movie 5 stars. A must see.
