Review of The Girl Next Door (2004) by Luke S — 13 Sep 2012

I watched The Girl Next Door again recently and I'm maybe a little confused as to my reasons for thinking this film is as good as it is. I mean I think it's great, funny, and kinda Intense and dark at times, but as a comedy it's not the funniest thing I've ever seen. There is a lot better out there.

Possibly my liking for it has something to do with the fact that it stars both Elisha Cuthbert, and Timothy Olyphant, who're perhaps two of the sexiest people going around (no offense Tom Hardy) and their looks aside, along with the rest of the cast they put on a damn good performance. I pretty much spent 2004 thru to 2006 trying to base my own personality around that of Olyphant's Porn Producing character Kelly.
