Review of The Girl in the Spider's Web (2018) by Todd S — 23 Nov 2018
I have not read the books, However I saw the original Trilogy as well as The Awesome Fincher adaptation. This Film may not be perfect, but it definitely deserves a higher rating than 40%!!! Claire Foy brings a fresh take on the Lisbeth Salander character.
Already having proven her chops in "The Crown". She not only kicks ass but does it with dramatic flair. This version of the now expanding series may be more 007 than the others, which means more intrigue & Lofty ideas.
Some may find this version improbable but it is not implausible. It is not based on Fictional characters, so just sit back and cheer Her on. It is good, clean fun, with no holds barred on the action. Like many Films theses days, the Screenplay may be lacking somewhat, but not enough for it to earn a Razzie award! Artfully Filmed & executed, this fan of the series is not disappointed.
