Review of The Gingerbread Man (1998) by Paul J — 01 Jul 2011
Kenneth Brannagh gets to swirl his raincoat about a lot in the pursuit of his stolen kids. Altman directed it (which promises greatness) but it's just a bog-standard, messy thriller, virtually indistinguishable from a ton of others.
The editing is sometimes confusing, as though Altman is out of his depth with action sequences.
