Review of The Gift (2015) by Jamel R — 10 Nov 2015

I'm not a fan of this movie. I didn't like any of the characters from the get go. The lady kept doing really dumb things, like she was trying to get killed or something. I was easily able to pick up on a few of the surprises, though, to be fair, they managed to throw me back off the scent until the reveal later on.

The only thing this movie has going for me was that big twist. Things definitely got more interesting and I did like the change in dynamic as the balance of power shifted. It came together nicely at the end, but not nicely enough that I'll be going back for another watch anytime soon.
