This film was written & directed by Joel Edgerton, which was a nice surprise, much like the movie itself. The Gift is a clever thriller that keeps you guessing until the end. There's a little more depth here than your typical suspense film.
.. there's a message behind it all concerning a serious subject matter. And it all pays off with an uncomfortable, twisted ending.
