I want you to be realistic in your expectation--I feel as though the advertisements gave away integral plot points that were supposed to have acted as revelations or twisting insights into the characters.

The story masterfully built up to these plot devices, yet it seemed underwhelming, if only because the audience had expected it all along. That's not to say that there aren't some neat twists in store, though.

The acting is first-rate, the cinematography is excellent, and the message is wonderfully ambiguous. Go see it. It's got a few jump scares thrown in there as well. Thought the guy next to me was gonna have a heart attack.
