Review of The Gift (2015) by Dallin C — 16 Nov 2015
The Gift was a creepy thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. As the film goes on, things between the main couple and the long lost high school classmate get more creepier and stranger.
The film is smart and witty and there are great twists that are uncovered that really pack a punch. Once things really get going half way through the film, you are just left waiting and wondering what the next "gift" is going to be that will shock you.
The acting is great and usually I am not a fan of Jason Bateman but he is starting to grow on me, especially with this role. Everything leads up to a great conclusion and an ending that will leave you almost speechless.
The gift is short on blood and guts but the suspense, mystery and intrigue is amazing and a blast to watch.
