Extraordinary film!!! The first time I had really taken notice of Cate as a stunning new force in Hollywood. Ribsi and Reeves round out the gorgeous acting. Reeves is especially riveting in his well-crafted charcter, Donny.
His menace is palpatable. Swank and Kinnear are adequate but are dimmed by the superb acting of their co-stars. The plot is excellent, a tad predicatble, but forgivably so. The cinematography is sumptous and the movie feels like a modern-day "To Kill a Mockingbird".
