Review of The Ghost Breakers (1940) by Ted W — 30 Jul 2010
My favorite Hope without Crosby movie. Bob really fills the shoes as the leading man well in this, being brave and chickenhearted all at the same time. Some creepy effects actually raise some hairs on my neck and Anthony Quinn (umpteenth billed) is suitably mysterious.
Oh, and did I mention Paulette Goddard?
