Review of The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) by Soraya G — 24 May 2009
A great action adventure film based on true events. Two lions go on a killing spree in Africa while British and Africa workers try and complete a bridge for a train. Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas both give top notch performances in their roles.
The lions sort of have that same effect that the shark had in Jaws. You never want to go the wild of Africa. And what is worst is this story actually happened. Overall this is a great film with a great cast and story.
Well worth the watch.
