Review of The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) by Matthew Q — 16 Sep 2007
Very good movie. I liked the casting, the story, etc. Angus (the Scottish missionary) was really funny and the nightmare when the lion attacks Val Kilmer's wife was actually somewhat upsetting (unlike the mindless mass slaughters of most movies these days).
The lions look a bit too obviously CGI in parts, but I suppose nothing's perfect.
