One of the most interesting and captivating movies I've seen! Gene Tierney is a joy to watch as the independent Mrs. Muir. Rex Harrison is perfectly cast as the cranky old ghost of Captain Gregg! Although their love isn't - well .

.....of this world - you actually end up wanting it to be. The way Mrs. Muir and Captain Gregg eventually become close is told in a realistic and fascinating sort of way. Watch this movie and be mesmerized!
