Review of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947) by Bob W — 16 Oct 2012
Fantasy romance classic with charming ending. Has comic as well as tragic aspects too. All actors give stellar performances. I'd give this more stars but it is fairly pedestrian at times, and the loneliness of the lead characters seems more haunting than the ghost themes.
For such a period piece, it's inexplicably devoid of God.
